Wow this week has flown by like you wouldn't believe! I feel like it
just barely started and now it's Sunday again! Ok I don't have much
time but I wanted to write real quick about today's miracle!

1月9日(土曜日)

今週も凄い速さで過ぎてしまいました。始まったばかりと思っていたら、もう明日は日曜日です。時間があんまりないんですが、今日起こった奇跡を書きますね！

We had a ton of people come to the Mochitsuki party and Talent show
today! We had the Chin family, Watanabe family, Miyajima, Kobayashi
and then Rosemary came with her daughter and brought her friend and
her son! We hadn't planned on being slammed with investigators today
but holy cow we were full! We had 14 investigators/PI's come today!
This was an incredible blessing. We also saw quite a few members that
I haven't met in a very long time so that was amazing too! All in all,
we had about as many, if not more, investigators than we did members!
All six missionaries were busy talking to as many people as possible
and the members reached out to our newcomers and welcomed them
beautifully! 

今日は本当に沢山の人達が、餅つき大会とタレントショーに来てくださいました！チン家族、渡辺家族、宮島さんに小林さん、あとローズマリーさんが娘さんを連れて、そしてお友達とその息子さんも一緒にきてくれました。今日はこんなに求道者の皆さんが来て下さるとは思ってもみなかったので、凄く嬉しかったです。合計14人来てくれたんですよ！凄い祝福ですよね。しばらくお会いしていない教会員の方々も数名いらして、最高でしたよ。参加して下さった教会員より、求道者の方が多かったかもというくらいでした。私達宣教師達6人共全員、できるだけたくさんの人達とお喋りできるようにフル回転で頑張り、教会員の方々も一緒に頑張って下さいました。

Today was probably one of the biggest miracles that I've seen so far. 
The Mochi tasted great, the talent show was fun and our investigators 
made lots of friends! Wow today was incredible! Thanks
to my awesome companion Elder Horio, today was an excellent success.

今日は本当に奇跡いっぱいの素晴らしい1日でした！お餅は美味しかったし、タレントショーも楽しかったし、素晴らしい教会員の方達のお陰で、私達の求道者には沢山新しい友達が出来ました！こんなに上手くいったのも、全て私の同僚の堀尾長老のお陰。堀尾長老、流石です！

Also we had another big miracle yesterday! Elder Nakatsuka and I were
on an exchange and we met with this guy that Elder Andrade found on
the street a week or so ago. We walked with him to the church and
taught a model lesson. He was a model investigator and everything went
so beautifully perfect that it was almost scary! He sat riveted to the
edge of his seat as we explained the Restoration and prayer and when
we came to the end of the lesson, he accepted the invitation to be
baptized. WHAT?!
He accepted the invitation to be baptized in the First lesson! This
week has just been miracles left and right! Also elder Nakatsuka is an
extremely good teacher. Man that was incredible to witness.

実は昨日も大きな奇跡があったんですよ！中塚長老と交換して一緒に伝道したんですが、先週アンドラージ長老が道端で知り合った人と会う事になり、その方と教会まで一緒に歩いて行き、教会でレッスンをしたんですが、宣教師にとっての理想のレッスンを施し、彼自身も全くの理想の求道者で、怖いくらい全てがスムースに行きました。福音の回復とお祈りについてのレッスンをとても興味深く聞いた後、バプテスマを受けませんかのチャレンジもあっさりクリア。マジで〜！？なんと彼は一回目のレッスンで、バプテスマチャレンジを承諾してしまったのでした！中塚長老も教えるのがこれが凄く上手なんですよ〜！昨日は彼から、素晴らしい物を見せてもらいました。

Speaking of people we found on the street, Sugiura San is coming to
church tomorrow! We found him two weeks ago on an OYM rampage and he
said he wanted to come to church! When we called him tonight, he still
remembered us and said that he would be there. Yes yes yes yes!!

道で出会った人とといえば、杉原さんという方も明日、教会に来て下さるんですよ〜！2週間ほど前に道で伝道中に出会った人なんですが、教会に行ってみたいと言っていたので今晩電話をしたら、私達の事を覚えていてくださって明日は教会に行くと言っていました。やった、やった、やったぁー！

Man being a missionary is super fun. There are a ton of other miracles
that I could recount from this week but I'm out of time.
Man life is so good right now! We have so much fun together in our
apartment and elder Horio and I have invented a new language. 

宣教師ってホント楽しいですよ！本当はもっと他の奇跡についても書きたいんですが、今日は時間切れです。本当に今、楽しいです！アパートのみんなは楽しいし、堀尾長老と一緒に新しい言語も開発したんですよ。

Also Elder Burns came over on an exchange yesterday and BROUGHT ME
INSANITY ON AN SD CARD! Man I love that guy. I did insanity this morning and
almost died.

Ok tons more crazy awesome miracles have been happening but this is
all the time I have to write!

そういえば昨日、バーンズ長老が交換で来たんですが、インサニティー(アメリカでいつもやっていたエクササイズのDVD)をSDカードに入れて持って来てくれました！彼はマジで最高です。今朝早速やってみたんですが、結構死にました。

この他にも沢山奇跡は起こってるんですが、時間が無いのでこの辺で！

みんな愛してますよー！
