Life as a missionary is really hard but really fulfilling.
I love it here.
There's little curry shop everywhere!
But the best part is the ward members here are amazing.
We have a little branch out here but there's enough of us to have a
meetinghouse!
Now if we could just get some more smiling faces to attend on Sunday.
We currently have two investigators.
To you people at the training center, the food here is incredible!
Just survive long enough to get out here and it will all be worth!
Practice door approaches and street contacting until you are smooth.
We've been doing a lot of streeting and door knocking.
 

宣教師の生活は、とっても大変ですが、充実しています。私は、ここ野並が大好きです。この辺にはちょっとしたカレーのお店があちこちにあるんですよ！一番最高なのは、ここの教会員の皆さんです。小さな支部なんですが、ちゃんと教会堂もあるんですよ！あとは、もっとここへ集ってくれる人たちがもっといれば、言うことなしです。現在、求道者は二人います。

宣教師訓練センターの皆さん、ここには美味しい食べ物がいっぱいありますよ！あとちょっとの我慢です。戸別訪問とストリート伝道でのアプローチをスムースにできるまで、練習すると良いですよ。私もここにきてから、よくそればかりたくさんやっています。

HOLY CRAZY GIANT SPIDER!! My comp caught it in a bowl with a piece of paper 

and threw it outside. There were little kids present and they LOVED IT. 

Seriously I've never seen a spider that big before! It was pretty fast too. 

We just found it in the church before sacrament meeting.

すんごい大きい蜘蛛！！同僚がボウルと紙を使って捕まえて、外へ逃がしてあげました。小さい子供達もこのとき周りにいて、

みんな大喜び！マジでこんな大きい蜘蛛を見たのはこれが初めてでした。結構動きも早かったんですよ。

教会で、集会が始まる前に見つけました。

Japan is awesome!
 It's extremely humid here and I'm dying of heat. My companion is a 6'
 4" Australian and he is super cool! His name is elder Mahoney.
 He convinced me to try Vegemite and I almost died. DONT VEGEMITE. It
 tastes like salt

 

まず最初に、、、日本の子供達はめっちゃ元気です！はい。

日本はサイコーですよ！湿度が高くて、この暑さでヘトヘトになっていますが、、、。新しい同僚は背が6フィート4インチのオーストラリア人です。良い人ですよ〜！同僚の名前はマホニー長老と言います。ベジマイトを食べてみないかと言われて、食べさせてもらったんですが、思わず死ぬかと思いました。まなさんはベジマイト、食べないでくださいね。めっちゃ塩っぱいです。

I haven't seen much of our district yet because we are so spread out
 and I just got here. It's just me and Mahoney Choro talking to people
 and knocking on doors. Pretty everyone out here knows about us or
 Jesus Christ and don't want anything to do with either. That's cool.
 We'll just keep looking and we'll find someone eventually. 

まだここのディストリクトで働く他の宣教師達には会っていません。結構みんな散らばっているようです。それにまだここに来たばかりだしね。マホニー長老と私の2人で人に話しかけたり戸別訪問したりの日々です。この辺のほとんどの人たちは私達宣教師の事も、イエス様の事も知ってして、どちらにも興味がないようです。まあ気長に興味を持ってくれる人を探すとします。

We are
 teaching this Philipino guy in English (we bring materials and Book of
 Mormon in Tagalog) and he is super cool! He's progressing very well
 and we love him.
 I went to church yesterday and gave a quick message in Japanese. Then
 we knocked doors under a shinkansen track (Japanese bullet train). We
 saw so many!
 That was cool.
 

フィリピン人の方に英語でレッスンしているのですが(タガログ語のパンフレットやモルモン書を持って行って)、またこの人が良い人で、大好きです。レッスンの方も順調に進んでいるんですよ！

昨日、教会へ行ったんですが、日本語でお話をしたんですよ。その後、新幹線の線路の下で戸別伝道をして、新幹線をいっぱい見ました！いやぁ〜、すごかったなぁ！

Anyway I kinda miss sleeping in a bed but the food here is AWESOME!
 The members are great and they feed us quite often.
 I'm running out of email time.
